Former FC Barcelona winger Pedro Rodriguez recently took an opportunity to drop in on his old teammates. A Canary Islands native, Rodriguez played 11 seasons with Barcelona before leaving the team last summer, taking his talents to Chelsea. The recent break in international play, however, afforded Rodriguez the opportunity to pay a visit to Barcelona and briefly reunite with his former teammates.
Rodriguez face a good amount of criticism earlier this year when he confirmed that he’d spoken to Barcelona President Maria Bartomeu about the potential of rejoining the team. In his most recent interviews, however, the winger appears to be quite content with his Chelsea squad. The 29-year-old Rodriguez describes his Chelsea experience as “new and different” and says he’s pleased with the team’s effort this past season.
